Budget Charged Me ₺7,300 Six Months After Rental in Dubai Without Explanation

About 5–6 months ago, I rented a car from Budget in Dubai and paid around ₺8,000 for the rental. When I returned the vehicle, I also paid an additional ₺6,000 or so to cover parking and penalty fees, which I was told closed out my entire rental. The car was returned without damage, and everything seemed settled.

But today, six months later, I noticed a new charge of ₺7,300 from Budget on my account—with no explanation whatsoever. I immediately contacted customer service, only to be told they couldn’t provide any information because it involved an international rental.

This is completely unacceptable. If the charge is related to the previous rental, I already fulfilled all obligations—including damages, fees, and penalties. If it’s from a new transaction, that’s even worse—because I didn’t rent a car, and it means someone used my saved card info without my consent.

Budget, I demand an immediate refund of this unauthorized charge and a full explanation of why this happened. I also want all my stored personal and payment data permanently deleted from your system.

Unless this is resolved immediately, this will be the last time I ever use Budget. I expect a prompt and transparent response—your brand reputation is on the line.
