Budget Car Rentals at Podgorica Airport Charged Hidden Fees and Unrefunded Deposit

My wife and I rented a car for five days from the Montenegro Podgorica Airport Budget office on 04.03.2024. The car rental process was made through the Booking Application, not on its page. A rental fee of 103 Euros was paid for the reservation made through the Application, all-inclusive. However, 188 Euros were compulsorily deducted from the credit card by the Airport Budget office under the name of winter package and additional extra costs, the subject and scope of which were not fully specified, and although it was said that it would be refunded, it was not refunded. In addition, my wife does not have the right to claim the so-called extra fees because she has a Montenegrin immigrant ID. Despite this, no refund was made. In addition, although we rented the vehicle with full insurance, a deposit of 400 Euros was taken and it was said that it would be refunded after a month, but no refund has been made for 3 months. Budget's Podgorica office could not be contacted and the e-mail was not answered. Budget Turkey was contacted and stated that they could not help since Montenegro and Türkiye were separate companies. It was not possible to contact Budget International and the e-mail address could not be reached. Budget North America was contacted via Twitter and it was said that International was informed about the issue, but there was no response, and we were told that Budget International's e-mail contact information was not provided and that there was no such contact information. In this context, we request that the additional payment of 188 Euros and the deposit of 400 Euros, which were unfairly and unlawfully collected from our credit card by Budget, be returned to us as soon as possible. Budget Avis airport in Montenegro is managed by the same company. Do not rent a car at all. You will have a lot of trouble. None of the things that are said to be refunded are accepted upon delivery. The vehicle is delivered to you unwashed and damaged. Afterwards, they do not answer their phones or they ignore your phone calls and do not return your e-mails. When you are disgraced with your money, you not only have to deal with the refund of the money you overpaid.
