I bought JEEP RENEGADE in August 2023. It had only been driven for 12,750 kilometers (twelve thousand seven hundred fifty in words), mostly on a specific route on the Asian side of Istanbul, began showing issues. The original tires on the vehicle were BRIDGESTONE model 215/65R16 98H T005, manufactured in Italy. Over time, the front two tires started to exhibit wear and tear, with significant chipping and cracking on all sides. On December 21, 2024, I brought the vehicle to AYKO Automotive, a BRIDGESTONE dealer in Istanbul, TURKEY. The representatives at the dealership approached the matter constructively and were attentive to my concerns. Thus, I decided to purchase new tires from BRIDGESTONE once again. I requested an inspection for all four tires. The reference numbers are as follows: 1003404521122401, 1003404521122402, 1003404521122403, and 1003404521122404. I handed over the tires on Saturday, December 21, 2024, at around 12:30 PM. By December 23 and 24, the tires had already been inspected and returned to dealer, as I received an SMS notification on Wednesday, December 25, 2024, at 12:18 PM, informing me of the rejection. The attached note also stated that I could collect my tires from AYKO Automotive. The entire process was completed in just 2.5 business days (!). On December 25, 2024, at 1:02 PM, I called BRIDGESTONE Customer Service and requested a reevaluation. On December 30, 2024, at 12:41 PM. I was informed that the rejection decision would remain the same. Considering that December 28 and 29 were Saturday and Sunday, this process was also completed in just 2.5 business days (!). On January 7, 2025, at 9:27 AM, I called again to inquire about the status of my complaint and was told that I had been contacted earlier, but since I was unreachable, my request was denied again. I have 28 years of factory experience, 24 of which were in Gebze. I called BRIDGESTONE Customer Service once more to understand the inspection process. I was told that the tires are sent by the dealer to the factory in Kocaeli for inspection. Both of my inspections were completed in 2.5 business days (!). The idea that the inspection procedure and logistics could be completed within such a short time does not make sense to me. I believe there is an issue with the compound of the product in my front tires. Since the rear tires are from the same batch, I request their replacement as well. I also request a refund for the cost of the new tires I purchased.
