On August 23, 2022, I purchased a Bosch washing machine, and with just six months left on the warranty, it started leaking water from the back. As I tried to stop the leak, the machine’s programs froze, so I immediately contacted Bosch service for assistance.
After inspection, the technicians reported severe internal damage:
The shock absorbers were broken
The rear hose had detached
Water had leaked into the main control board and motor, causing both to burn out
I only saw one minor water leak, yet all three major components failed at the same time. This clearly points to a quality issue, as it's unreasonable for a machine with six months left on its warranty to experience such catastrophic failure.
When I refused to accept a partial repair, the service representative, Ms. S**, rudely insisted that there was no other option** and offered no real help. How can Bosch guarantee that this won’t happen again after the warranty expires? Should I expect to replace all major components again in another six months?
Am I supposed to keep only the exterior parts original while replacing everything inside? If one malfunction triggers the failure of the entire machine, that’s a clear design flaw.
I refuse to accept a repair and demand a full replacement. Bosch should stand behind its products and prevent future failures instead of forcing costly repairs. This issue is urgent, and I expect immediate resolution!
