My Hilton XYZ Hotel Booking: Scammed ₺500 and Hilton Won't Help!
I'm beyond frustrated with my recent Hilton XYZ Hotel booking through Booking.com, and I need to warn others. I received a message directly through the Booking.com system, instructing me to make a payment to secure my reservation. The message explicitly stated that if I didn't pay, my booking would be canceled. Feeling pressured, I transferred the ₺500 requested.
Now, Hilton XYZ Hotel is refusing to take any responsibility, claiming Booking.com was hacked and that's why this "situation" occurred. Hacked or not, my money is gone, and Hilton is doing nothing to help me! It's incredibly difficult to even get in touch with Booking.com to sort this out. This isn't just an inconvenience; I've been scammed out of my hard-earned money due to a vulnerability that either Hilton or Booking.com should have prevented. Hilton needs to step up and resolve this immediately, whether it's refunding my money or honoring my reservation without further payment. This is unacceptable customer service.
