Booking.com Reservation at Orbi City Batumi Was Invalid – I Had to Pay Again

I booked a stay at Orbi City Batumi through Booking.com for the Bayram holiday. The reservation showed as paid at the property, but there was no payment option or confirmation screen on Booking.com.

When I arrived at Orbi City on the first day of my trip, I was shocked to learn that my reservation was not valid. The hotel staff told me that the booking was made through private individuals and provided only one phone number for contact. However, no one answered despite multiple calls.

Since my reservation was useless, Orbi City’s reception offered me a new room at an additional cost. I had no choice but to accept and pay again for my stay. I immediately contacted Booking.com via WhatsApp, but they refused to take responsibility for the issue.
