BMW Sticky Door Handle Repair: Fix Melted Trim & Get Refund

I have been using my 2011 BMW 3.16i as the second owner since 2019, when I bought it with 34,000 km on the clock and in almost as‑new condition. Although I have been using the vehicle very carefully for 7 years, I first noticed that the right front interior door handle had completely melted and become unusable, and more recently the same melting has started on the right rear door handle as well. As it melts, it creates a very disturbing feeling to the touch, which negatively affects comfort and absolutely does not suit a vehicle in this segment. During my research, especially on platforms such as Xolvie, I saw that many users complain of the same issue and that this is frequently described as a chronic problem. Seeing such a chronic interior trim material defect in a brand like BMW, which positions itself with a premium brand and premium vehicle perception, has seriously disappointed me. In addition to this, disintegration and deterioration has also appeared on the upper windshield seal rubbers. Regarding this issue, I applied to Kocaeli Öztorun BMW Authorized Service and requested replacement under customer satisfaction. Although I learned that these parts had been replaced free of charge for many customers within the scope of customer goodwill, I was told that only paid service could be offered to me, and I had to pay ₺5,236 for the replacement of the upper windshield seal. No action was taken regarding the melted door handles. Since it is clearly seen that this problem does not stem from user error, but from the quality of the material used and a chronic design defect, I feel that I have been aggrieved. For this reason, I request that the chronic defect in the melted door handles and similar interior parts be remedied by BMW, and that the ₺5,236 I paid for the upper windshield seal replacement be refunded to me as a gesture of customer satisfaction.
