BMW 318i Screen Black Spot Issue – Rearview Camera Safety Concern

I am the owner of a 2017 BMW 318i, and about two weeks ago a black spot appeared on the multimedia screen. This black spot blocks part of the display on the rearview camera screen and creates a serious safety risk while reversing and parking.

I have learned that this issue is a common, chronic problem, and I find it unacceptable and inconsistent with BMW’s brand standards. I have not yet contacted an authorized BMW service center or customer support, but I wanted to clearly state my request in advance.

I kindly request that the multimedia/rearview display of my 2017 BMW 318i, located in Mersin, Turkey, be repaired or replaced free of charge as a goodwill gesture, and that the issue be fully resolved without any cost to me. I expect support from BMW so that I can continue using my vehicle safely.
