On November 2, 2025, my BlaBlaCar account was locked without any explanation. The issue began after I reported a user who demanded a fare far higher than the listed price and sent me an offensive message saying, “Get on a bus, smart guy.” Shortly after submitting this report, my account was suddenly suspended, even though I did nothing wrong.
Lately, I’ve noticed many drivers asking for extra money beyond the official fare on BlaBlaCar. Instead of addressing these issues, the platform seems to have penalized me — the reporting user — which is deeply unfair. To make matters worse, I received no email, message, or reason explaining why my account was locked, and I’ve been unable to reach customer support for clarification.
I request that my account be reinstated immediately, that BlaBlaCar clearly explain why it was locked, and that the company improves its support system so that users reporting misconduct aren’t punished for trying to keep the platform safe and fair.
