BIBS Pacifier Arrives With Torn and Open Packaging

I purchased a BIBS brand pacifier from Mamamkido through Trendyol. Although the shipping box arrived completely sealed and undamaged, the pacifier's own packaging was torn and already open when I received it. Considering that this is a newborn product that requires extremely strict hygiene standards, I was both surprised and concerned to receive it in this condition.

I received the product on April 28 and was only able to inspect it on May 2, meaning that only five days had passed since delivery. My order number is 11172456294, and my delivery number is 10440861650. I paid a total of $9 for this purchase.

When I contacted the seller through Trendyol, I was simply told, “That would never happen with us,” and was instructed to return the product. I was told that I had to personally take the product to the shipping carrier and that there was no other option. I specifically explained that I have a five-month-old baby and should not be required to spend additional money on fuel and take the product to a shipping branch myself. Nevertheless, my request for an exchange was rejected. When I asked for the product to be picked up from my home, that request was also refused, and the seller did not even offer an apology.

I have been seriously inconvenienced both because the product was sent with torn and open packaging that does not meet the hygiene standards expected for a newborn product and because of the seller's completely unsympathetic approach afterward. I am requesting that the BIBS pacifier be picked up from my home and replaced with a new, unused product in intact and sealed packaging, with the replacement delivered directly to my home.
