Despite canceling my BetterMe app subscription via Google Play Store in March, I was charged ₺350 today on my credit card. I verified that the subscription is no longer active — it does not appear under my active subscriptions, and I clearly remember canceling it months ago.
There is no way to reach BetterMe customer support directly, which makes this situation even more frustrating. I am now forced to report the issue through public channels.
This is a serious breach of consumer trust. The fact that a canceled subscription continues to bill me without my consent is both unacceptable and potentially illegal.
I demand the following immediately:
A full refund of the ₺350 charged today
A complete and permanent cancellation of any residual or ghost subscription
Written confirmation that no further charges will be made
If this issue is not resolved promptly, I will not hesitate to file a formal complaint with my bank, consumer protection agencies, and take legal action if necessary.
Consumers should not be penalized for using legitimate cancellation methods like Google Play. I expect a swift resolution and a refund without further delay.
