On 12/26/2025, I downloaded and used the Best Wallet app from the Android Play Store to move my Bitcoin. I first sent BTC from Cash App to Best Wallet, and that transfer was fast with little fees. After that, I moved the whole amount from Best Wallet to my Phantom wallet. The transfer from Best Wallet to Phantom took a long time, around an hour, and I was charged high fees. Then I sent the funds from Phantom back to Best Wallet. The transfer from Phantom to Best Wallet was very fast, only a few seconds, and with much lower fees, although the total amount was already smaller by then because I had already lost about half of it to fees, mostly on Best Wallet’s side. When the funds arrived back in Best Wallet, the app basically froze everything for around four hours. During this time, I tried to send what was left back to my Cash App so I could use the money for basic needs like food, but Best Wallet did not process the transaction. In the end, I lost about 45 dollars in total, with roughly 23 dollars going to fees and the rest effectively taken when I could not withdraw the remaining balance. While I was trying to get my money out, Best Wallet logged me out. When I tried to log back in, the app said it did not recognize my device, even though I was using the same phone, same number, same location, same email, and the same password as always. I am now locked out of my account and cannot access, sell, or move my remaining funds for no valid reason. I have not yet received any response from Best Wallet support. I request that this situation be urgently investigated, that my access to my account be restored, and that my lost funds, including the excessive fees, be compensated or otherwise returned to me.
