Beko Sells Defective Home Appliances
The CM 10120 model washing machine I bought from Beko 9 months ago has been causing issues with long washing times, damaging clothes, and failing to remove stains (like sweat or coffee stains). Initially, I raised concerns with the store where I purchased it, mentioning the extended washing duration, and they attributed it to inverter technology. However, after one of my shirts was torn during a wash, I decided enough was enough and contacted the service department, receiving the same response about inverter technology. I then reached out to Beko via email, proposing either a replacement with a higher model (with me covering the price difference) or a refund, stating that the machine was defective. Unfortunately, Beko rejected this request. They refused to upgrade to a higher model, despite my willingness to pay more. Subsequently, the service department identified a faulty card and replaced it, but the issue persisted. When I requested a refund, I received a dismissive response implying that prolonged washing times were normal and even joked about it taking longer. It's as if they assume we're using a washing machine for the first time in our lives. Our mistake was choosing this domestically produced, yet poor-quality example when there are established brands like Bosch/Siemens. In conclusion, I intend to take this matter to the Consumer Arbitration Committee to hold Beko accountable for mocking its customers. I'll gladly share my complaint with anyone who reaches out so that brands disrespecting their customers understand their place.
