Barclays Is Blocking My Transfer Unless I Pay $1,500 Insurance
I am unable to transfer my funds from my Barclays Bank account to my Türkiye İş Bankası account in Turkey. The transfer is being blocked unless I pay an additional $1,500 as an insurance fee, which was never mentioned or agreed to beforehand.
This unexpected demand is highly suspicious and deeply frustrating. I’ve tried repeatedly to reach a Barclays representative for clarification, but no one is responding. I’ve received no official explanation, no documentation, and no support to resolve this situation.
This is my own money, and it’s being held hostage behind unjustified conditions. I’m requesting Barclays to either deduct the fee from the transfer amount or cancel the charge entirely and release my funds.
If I don’t receive a response or resolution soon, I will escalate this issue through legal channels. I expect immediate and transparent action.
