Brand-New Babyliss Steam Straight Ceramic Hair Straightener Leaks Water
On January 27, 2023, I purchased the Babyliss Steam Straight Ceramic hair straightener with steam from the Media Markt store. After using the product for a month, it started leaking. Due to this issue, I sent the product to Babyliss through Media Markt. They replaced it with a new unit of the same product. However, while using the new product, I encountered water leakage and, consequently, electrical shock. After this, I again sent the product to Babyliss through Media Markt. This time, Babyliss replaced the water reservoir and returned the straightener to me. When I used the product on the same day I received it from Media Markt, the water leakage issue became even worse. I returned the product to Media Markt and, contacting Babyliss by phone, informed them that I no longer want to use this steam straightener and requested a replacement with a non-steam straightener of the same brand. Despite Babyliss stating that such a replacement is possible, they again replaced the product with the same brand and model. Today, on June 6, 2023, I refused to accept the product that arrived at Media Markt and demanded a refund. I no longer want this product... These events encompass the issues I have experienced with the same brand and model of the product over the course of 5 months. During this time, I was only able to use the product 2-3 times. This situation, created by such a brand, has disappointed me. I hope that the responsible individuals at the brand will address the issues I have described in my review.
