Since September 2018, I have purchased supplementary health insurance from Doğa Insurance for 2 years, Ethica Insurance for another 2 years, and finally AXA for 2 years. Over the past 2 years, my treatments have been carried out through this service. In 2019, it was determined that I needed to undergo surgery due to a developing condition. During the intervening years, I received treatments and minor operations covered by my other supplementary insurance plans, all of which were paid for by my insurers. Now that the condition has worsened and can only be resolved with surgery, which is within the terms and exemptions of the insurance policy, AXA Insurance is refusing to approve the procedure. They reason that the system shows my insurance policy as starting in 2020. They are refusing to cover the costs, claiming it is a pre-existing condition as per insurance law. I have all my policies dating back to 2018, but despite emailing the company, I cannot reach anyone, and my claim continues to be rejected with the same excuse. When I contacted AXA regarding the issue, no solution was provided, and I was unable to find a responsible representative. The customer service agents I spoke to claimed, "Our department is different, we cannot see your emails" (even though I later sent them the email as well). In short, instead of offering a solution, they have been bouncing me around from one department to another. Even a well-known company like AXA is behaving irrationally and without resolution. Despite having proof of my policies in my emails, they are doing everything they can to avoid accepting responsibility. I strongly advise against using AXA for any insurance services, whether it be auto, traffic, health, or supplementary health insurance. They simply do not provide the service. Their call center system is broken and operates in a completely ineffective manner.
