AXA Insurance Wants to Repair My Totaled 2-Week-Old Motorcycle After Taxi Crash




I had only had my motorcycle for two weeks when, on October 1, 2024, an accident occurred due to a taxi driver running a red light. The taxi's insurance is with Axa, and the traffic accident report shows the taxi driver as 100% at fault. My motorcycle was rendered unusable, and my service center said, "It will be a total loss." The expert who came to inspect said, "It could be a total loss, the damage is extensive." A decision has been made to repair a motorcycle that is only two weeks old with 700 km, despite it being at total loss level! Why should I have to ride a damaged vehicle? And now, due to someone else’s mistake, I am losing my motorcycle. This is the height of injustice. I want the amount I paid for my motorcycle or a replacement with a motorcycle of similar mileage and model.
