On July 22, 2025, I received a notice from Avon Cosmetics claiming that I owe a debt of ₺1,700 for a product they allege was never paid for. However, this is completely untrue—I never received such a product, and certainly never agreed to pay for something that was not delivered. In fact, Avon’s own delivery system typically requires payment upon delivery, especially for cash-on-delivery orders. So how can they now claim a debt exists without proof of delivery or acknowledgment?
Even more puzzling, the account they refer to dates back to 2017. If there really was an issue, why wait eight years to raise it? This feels like a baseless accusation meant to pressure people into paying for things they never received. Avon claims I bought a box and didn’t pay, but again, I never received any such delivery.
I’ve already filed a complaint with the prosecutor’s office and will be sharing this experience across all my social media platforms. I urge Avon Cosmetics to resolve this false claim immediately and stop placing former members under suspicion without legitimate proof. I will not pay ₺1,700 for something I never received.
