On April 27, 2023 at around 03.30 in the morning, we rented a car from Avis at Dubai airport for a total of 10 days until May 07. They charged the total amount of 2059.45 aed directly from our credit card. They told us that they would block the 1600 aed fee for security reasons and return it after delivering the car. On the 7th day of our trip, we received a fine of 100.80 aed. While returning the car, my wife paid with her debit card and we returned to our country. Of the blocked 1600 aed amount, 923.50 aed was immediately returned to the card. The remaining 672.50 aed appeared as a pending provision. When we checked again today, the fee was charged. I also talked to the bank. It says the fee has been taken. We cannot write because WhatsApp is not used in the country. The numbers given are only to be reached in case of accidents etc. E-mails are not sent to e-mail addresses. But how can we find out for what reason they collected the fee? We have been victimized by relying on the global reputation and name of your company. We kindly request that our complaint be taken into consideration and if there is a wrong application, it should be corrected.
