I was recommended Asics due to my flat feet issues, so I visited the Zorlu Center store and, based on a sales associate’s advice, purchased the Asics Gel-Nimbus 27 instead of the Kayano 31. The staff member assured me that unless I had extreme overpronation or arch collapse, the Nimbus 27 would be suitable.
However, after just 10 days of use, I started experiencing intense foot pain with every wear. I returned to the same store within the legal 14-day return period and presented my receipt, only to be told that no returns or exchanges are allowed for used shoes, and that “no brand accepts worn items.” That’s simply false—I’ve returned used shoes to other brands within this timeframe before.
Why was I given the wrong recommendation when I clearly stated my foot condition? And how exactly is a customer supposed to know a shoe causes pain without wearing it?
The shoes are now under review, but if my claim is denied, I will file a complaint with the Consumer Arbitration Committee. I demand a full refund or an exchange for a properly supportive model. This experience has left me in pain and extremely disappointed with both the product and the misleading service.
