I purchased the Asics Gel Nimbus 27 running shoes on 23/06/2025, expecting comfort and quality from a globally trusted brand. However, from the very first time I wore them, the shoes caused a painful wound on my big toe. Curious as to why this happened, I closely inspected the area and noticed a visible indentation exactly where the wound occurred. This may have been a manufacturing defect, possibly even present when I bought the shoes but didn’t notice at the time.
Hoping for a resolution, I submitted the shoes for inspection through the proper Asics process. Unfortunately, I was met with a generic and dismissive response claiming there was no issue with the product — without any genuine technical explanation or concern for the injury it caused.
This is not the level of care I expected from Asics. I paid a premium for a product that literally harmed me, and instead of standing behind their quality, they refused to help. If this is how customer service is handled, then I will have no choice but to escalate the matter to the Consumer Arbitration Board.
I urge Asics to take this complaint seriously, properly re-evaluate the defect, and either issue a refund or replacement immediately.
