I purchased the Asics Gel-Trabuco 12 Gore-Tex model from Gök Yiğit Sports in July 2024. After the store shut down, I tried to contact Asics Turkey directly to report a quality issue and request a product inspection.
When I explained the situation, they told me they had collected unsold stock from the closed retailer, but they would not inspect or support any products already sold to consumers. Their response implied that the shoes sold by the now-closed store might not be guaranteed, which is extremely concerning.
So now I’m left wondering: are these official Asics products or not? How can a global brand refuse to stand behind its own product, simply because the seller closed shop?
Asics Turkey, this is unacceptable. If your logo is on the product, you should take responsibility. I expect a proper inspection and resolution, not excuses.
