Ashley Furniture Couch Not Opening, Blame Shifted On Us

We needed to make a warranty claim for a couch that wasn't opening right, first interaction with Ashley Furniture went well, getting it fixed was important because it was meant to be a bed when needed, we have limited space, so it’s important for us, we greet guests quite often. As usual, we started the process by getting in touch with a business associate. They picked up the couch and told us it would be turned in for something else, things looked like they were going well until all of a sudden, at the last second, they changed, put the blame on us and said the problem was our fault. We felt angry, a reputable company like Ashley Furniture must do better. The way they handled our warranty claim was disappointing.
