Defective Dishwasher and Poor After-Sales Service From Arçelik





I purchased a grey inox dishwasher from Arçelik, and after three months of use, the exterior and edges began to stain and rust, as shown in the attached photo. When I called customer service, they only took a photo and left, later claiming that the stains were caused by chemicals and stating that the issue was my fault. I was informed that Arçelik does not cover such stains under warranty. We are not new to using home appliances. Despite our efforts not to use any chemicals to avoid staining during cleaning, it is defamatory to claim that we used the wrong chemicals based on a single photo. When we requested service again, despite the issue being within warranty, they stated they would charge a fee for the visit. This kind of handling is unbecoming of Arçelik. If you are not going to stand behind your product after the sale, there is no reason to trust you with our money, as we could have purchased similar, cheaper products. After sharing this experience with people around me, many have decided to stop purchasing from Arçelik. I will continue to share this experience with others as well.
