Beware Faulty Arçelik Refurbished Appliances

In July 2020, I purchased a refurbished Arçelik built-in dishwasher. Since day one, it has been a nightmare. Dishes come out dirty, with residue and limescale stains, sometimes even yellow. Additionally, they are often wet upon completion. Despite calling the service multiple times, the issues persist. Today, the service technician revealed the truth: the display card, salt unit, and detergent unit are all faulty. Shockingly, these defects have been causing dirty dishes since day one, yet they only informed me after three years. The faulty door seal has even led to water damage in my kitchen cabinets, costing me extra expenses. The technician suggested a replacement (at a cost), showing some compassion. I chose Arçelik for its Turkish quality and reputation, but I regret it deeply. If the company doesn't stand behind its product and offers a free replacement, I will pursue legal action.

It must be Arçelik's way of doing things to appear concerned, call once saying they will take care of it, and then claim they have communicated without ever actually following up.

Unfortunately, the issue could not be resolved with the parts that were brought in; this time they said the motherboard was faulty. That was also checked, and they said we need to take the machine to the service center. The service technician said, "I've been working for many years and this is the first time I've encountered such a problem. I won't comment; I will use all my legal rights. Please think twice before buying an Arçelik product."
