Arçelik Washing Machine Started Rusting and Peeling Paint Three Years
The Stainpro 9 kg washing machine I purchased from Arçelik has started showing serious paint peeling and rusting problems in less than three years, during a time when sustainability is so highly emphasized. Rust has formed especially under the detergent drawer, and the machine now looks worse than my 20-year-old previous one. This issue began about a year and a half after purchase and has continued to worsen over time. I even feel embarrassed in front of my guests because of how it looks. I haven’t contacted customer service until now because I know such complaints are often dismissed with excuses like “bathroom humidity.” However, the condition of the machine has become extremely disturbing and frustrating. Although my machine is no longer under warranty, I cannot accept such a serious problem occurring in such a short time. Since this seems to be a chronic issue with the product, I am requesting a replacement from Arçelik.
I was called during working hours and meetings. After being called 3 times, they asked me to call back. I did, but they said they recorded it and I still have not been contacted about my issue.
