Arçelik Built-In Stove Glass Shattered After 7 Months and Warranty Didn’t Cover It


The glass on our built-in stove from Arçelik, purchased just 7 months ago, shattered unexpectedly. It’s shocking that a product sold with a two- or three-year warranty isn’t covered if the glass breaks. Why wouldn’t they inform me upfront that the glass could shatter and that such an issue wouldn’t be covered by the warranty? They canceled my service request without even inspecting the product or offering a simple “get well soon” and instead quoted me ₺3500 for the replacement glass. A person’s safety and hard-earned money deserve more respect. I will submit a complaint to the Consumer Arbitration Board and begin the necessary legal actions immediately. This brand doesn’t live up to the value of money earned through honest work.
