Arçelik Refused Warranty Replacement for My Shattered Built-in Stove Glass


My three-year-old Arçelik built-in stove glass shattered again shortly after a warranty replacement. There was no impact—several areas have cracked, not just one, as shown in photos. Arçelik customer service initially assured me the replacement would be covered under warranty but later changed their position, asking for ₺4,000 for the glass and an additional ₺5,000 for the process. They labeled the stove glass as an "accessory," which seems odd considering its essential function. I ended up hiring a different technician, who replaced the glass at half the price and confirmed that the breakage likely occurred during installation. Unfortunately, Arçelik doesn’t seem to stand behind their products, and my experience with their customer service has been disappointing.
