I Face Non-Delivered Alibaba Daiwa Tanacom 1000 Order and Extra Hidden Charges
I placed an order on Alibaba.com through Laxamana Wholesale Trade Ltd. for a Daiwa Tanacom 1000 electric reel (Order No: ASD0618001427). For this purchase, I paid a total of ₺17,540, which included ₺11,400 for the product and ₺6,140 (about $150) in customs duties.
Although I was assured that all taxes and fees were included, I was later asked to pay additional customs charges and even a so-called “customs delay fee.” Payments were requested via Turkish IBANs under different names, which raised serious doubts about the legitimacy of the process.
My order was supposed to be delivered to Finike, Antalya, but for 25 days it has remained stuck in Istanbul customs. No invoices, receipts, or official documentation were ever provided—only a vague tracking number. Despite repeated attempts to resolve the issue with the supplier, I was continuously asked for more money. Eventually, my refund request was denied, with the supplier falsely claiming that the delay was my fault.
At this point, I have no confidence that the product will ever be delivered. I demand either the immediate shipment of my Daiwa Tanacom 1000 or a full refund of ₺17,540. I also urge Alibaba to investigate this seller to prevent other buyers from experiencing similar fraud.
