Ajet - Lost Baggage Complaint
I travelled with my family on Ajet flight VF105 from Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen to Basel on 8 January 2026, under the name H**** M. Our checked baggage was not loaded onto the aircraft in Istanbul, and as a result, our bags never arrived in Basel. It has now been three days, and we still have no information, no update, and no one has taken responsibility for this situation. Because our baggage did not arrive, our planned holiday and road trip have been ruined. We are staying at a friend’s home and had to spend around 327 euros on clothing, medications, my son’s nutrition, and other necessities that were in our luggage. This has turned our trip into a nightmare and caused a lot of stress, especially because of my son’s needs. I contacted Ajet and the ground services about the missing baggage, but I have not received any response or concrete information so far. I am still waiting for any action or explanation. I request that Ajet urgently locate and deliver our baggage to us or clearly confirm its status, and that the airline fully compensates the 327 euros and other expenses we had to make because of this problem. In addition, I expect a written apology for the disruption and the lack of communication over the past few days.
