Booked the Wrong Airbnb Listing by Mistake? How to Get a Full Refund
On November 4, 2025, I made an Airbnb reservation for a property in the Çankaya district for November 10–22, 2025 (confirmation code: HMXA5PNQFM). I booked the listing thinking it was for the entire home, but I later realized that it was actually only a single room. Because of this misunderstanding, I decided to cancel the reservation.
When I attempted to cancel, the refund amount displayed as ₺0, so I reached out for support. I contacted both the host and Airbnb customer service. However, Airbnb told me to resolve it directly with the host, while the host redirected me back to Airbnb support. As a result, I’ve been left stuck between the two and unable to find a solution.
I paid a total of $536 by credit card. I request that my cancellation be processed and that the full payment be refunded as soon as possible. I expect a prompt and fair resolution to this issue.
