Airbnb Applies Unfair Unjust Cancelation and Refund Policy

I believe there is an unfair and unjust practice on Airbnb where, without proper investigation, hosts are granted the authority to approve or deny cancellation requests. This decision is made based solely on the information provided by the host, without thoroughly considering the guest's perspective. Upon making a reservation for an Airbnb property, guests place their trust in the information provided by the host. However, there have been instances where hosts have provided inaccurate or misleading information about the property, leading guests to request cancellations due to these discrepancies. What's troubling is that hosts can unilaterally approve or deny these cancellation requests. why leave customers at hosts' mercy??
