Hello, my name is Büşra, and I made a reservation through Agoda for Yasmin Resort Bodrum, scheduled for July 22–25, 2025 (Reservation No: 1632171595). After receiving the booking confirmation, I called the hotel directly to confirm my stay — and to my shock, they told me they had no record of my reservation and even said that they do not work with Agoda at all.
This left me in a panic, so I immediately canceled the booking to avoid showing up to a hotel with no room. But when I reached out to Agoda’s support — which only offers a chatbot with limited responses — I was told that my booking was non-refundable, despite the fact that the hotel never received it in the first place.
This is completely unacceptable. I made the reservation in good faith, and I now have no hotel and no refund. I can provide all relevant documents, including my booking details and proof of payment. I am requesting that Agoda fully refund the ₺ amount I paid or offer a valid alternative immediately.
Agoda must stop hiding behind automated systems and actually take accountability when things go wrong. I expect a human representative to contact me urgently to resolve this issue.
