Agoda Refuses Refund for Canceled Tasigo Hotel Reservation
On January 21, 2025, I booked a reservation for Tasigo Hotel Eskişehir through Agoda. The listing clearly stated that I could cancel for free until January 20. However, I noticed the hotel’s official website offered a "Stay 3 Nights, Pay for 2" promotion, so I decided to book directly with the hotel.
I canceled my Agoda reservation, expecting the refund promised under the free cancellation policy. Instead, I received an email stating that the refund could not be processed due to the hotel’s policies. When I contacted the hotel, they confirmed they had no record of a reservation or cancellation through Agoda.
Now, I cannot reach Agoda directly. Their automated chatbot system is the only available contact method, leaving me without support or clarity on the issue. I demand an immediate resolution, including a full refund, as this experience has been frustrating and unacceptable.
