Agoda Refund Issue – Hotel Approved Cancellation, but No Money Returned

I made a hotel reservation through the Agoda app, initially selecting the free cancellation option. Later, I decided to cancel the booking, and Agoda informed me that they would submit the cancellation request to the hotel for approval. The hotel approved the full refund, but it has now been 10 business days, and I have yet to receive my money back.

The reservation no longer appears in the hotel’s system, and my money has completely disappeared. Agoda’s customer service is non-existent—every time I try to contact them, I am redirected to a virtual assistant, with no way to speak to an actual representative.

Agoda may seem like a budget-friendly option, but don’t risk your money! Their refund process is unreliable, and their support team is impossible to reach. I demand my full refund immediately!
