On December 16, 2025, I made a hotel reservation through Agoda for PP Princess Resort in Thailand and paid $164. However, shortly after completing the reservation, I realized that I had selected the wrong dates and the wrong number of guests. I wanted to change the reservation date from December 16 to December 30 and update the number of guests from 1 person to 3 people.
I immediately contacted Agoda to request either a refund or a date and guest change without penalty. However, I was unable to reach a live customer service representative and was continuously redirected to an AI assistant. Even though the reservation had been made only minutes earlier, I was not allowed to change the date or guest count. While other companies typically assist with same-day changes or cancellations, Agoda showed no flexibility at all, leaving me at a disadvantage.
When I contacted the hotel directly, they told me that they could not process a refund or make changes, that all transactions were handled through Agoda, and that I needed to contact Agoda for assistance. As a result, I was unable to get support from either Agoda or the hotel. My Agoda reservation number is 1678904159.
To resolve this issue, I request that my reservation be modified without penalty to reflect the correct dates and number of guests.
