Agoda is a total rip-off - they are either totally incompetent or untrustworthy! I recently booked a 'single room with a shared bathroom' in a 'hostel' in New York only to be given a bed in a dirty kitchen(!) with two other strangers. It was so bad that I left after one night and the owner made money from me without providing any service. Agoda customer service did everything to AVOID being held responsible and refused to give me a refund. Once they have your money, they don't care about you.
