I Got a Defective Adidas T-Shirt with Stitching Issues and Was Blamed for It

I bought an Adidas t-shirt from the Afium Adidas store on March 9, 2025. After only a few wears, the stitching started to come apart and shift out of place. I took the shirt back to the store and filed a formal inspection request. When I finally got a response, they claimed there was no manufacturing defect and blamed the issue on how I used or washed the item.
That’s completely unacceptable. Every clothing item clearly comes with a care label—I know how to wash a t-shirt. How on earth is a customer supposed to cause seam shifting? Unless someone is deliberately tearing at it, this is clearly a quality issue.
Adidas, you cannot pin your poorly made products on your customers. A single t-shirt won’t make or break me financially, and certainly won’t bankrupt a company of your size—but denying responsibility for an obvious defect damages your reputation. Honestly, a knockoff from the local market would’ve lasted longer.
