Adidas Shoes Soles Ripping and 'User Error' Excuse Leaves Me Frustrated

Even though I try to be a conscientious consumer, I managed to rip the soles of these shoes. That's unbelievable... I contacted the company to ask for help, but can you guess what they told me? They said it was my fault for making a "user error" and shipped it back. I've worn everything from cheap knockoffs to mid-tier designer shoes, and I can generally get two years out of them. However, things turned out very differently with Adidas this time around. They ignored the problem and made it seem like it was my responsibility when I raised it. I mean, come on! I was led to believe that their brand and product were reliable, but I am now disappointed.
