Adidas Is Not Fulfilling Its Legal Responsibilities Regarding Shoes
I purchased Adidas Run Falcon 2 shoes via the Adidas mobile app on 26.11.2024 for ₺1,499. Although I used these shoes only 2–3 days a week in Istanbul, mainly for commuting to work and not for intensive sports, the upper part of the shoe tore in less than a year. For a brand like Adidas, I find it unacceptable that a product used under such normal conditions wears out this quickly. I sent the product to the Adidas service center, but my request was rejected and the company did not accept any responsibility. In the past, I had bought the same model in a different color, experienced a similar tear problem, sent that pair for inspection as well, and again received a negative response. This recurring situation leads me to seriously question the quality of the product and the brand’s approach to customer satisfaction. Their products are both expensive and, based on my experience, low-quality for the price, yet the brand tries to shift the responsibility onto the consumer instead of fulfilling its legal obligations. The warranty period for products purchased through the Adidas mobile application is 2 years, and I still have 9 months of warranty remaining. Despite this, they have rejected my claim. My application is registered under the number ATR03658316. I request that my shoes be treated in accordance with my legal rights and that a product exchange or a full refund be provided without further delay.
