I am writing to raise a serious complaint about my withdrawal and deposit issues with 1win, which have left me extremely frustrated and disappointed. I am based in South Africa and use Capitec Bank for my transactions. On 13 May, I requested a withdrawal of R5,010 via Instant EFT to my Capitec account. As of today, it has been 9 days and the withdrawal is still not paid out. Each time I contact support, I receive the same generic response that my “appeal is in progress”, with no real update, no solution, and no clear time frame. This delay is unacceptable, especially because this was my last money and I now have bills to pay while my funds are stuck. On top of this, on 20 May I deposited R100 from my Capitec account, and the money left my bank but never appeared in my 1win account. I have proof from my bank that the R100 was debited, yet my 1win balance was never credited. I have already sent screenshots and proof of payment for both the withdrawal and the missing R100 deposit via both email and live chat, but nothing has been resolved and I keep getting the same standard replies. This experience has completely destroyed my trust in your platform. What I want 1win to do now is very clear. I want you to immediately pay out the pending Instant EFT withdrawal of R5,010 requested on 13 May. I also want you to either credit or refund the missing R100 deposit from 20 May that left my Capitec account but did not reach my 1win account. Finally, I expect a clear and detailed explanation for why both transactions have been delayed despite me providing proof, and why I am getting the same response every day without any action. These are my last funds and I am under financial pressure due to bills I must pay, so I expect this matter to be treated as urgent. I request that you resolve this within 48 hours, otherwise I will have no choice but to escalate the issue to Capitec and the relevant South African authorities.

Thanks for the update. I acknowledge that my case is being prioritized. As mentioned, this matter is urgent due to outstanding bills, and these are my last available funds. I expect the R5010 withdrawal and the R100 deposit issue to be fully resolved within the next 48 hours. Please confirm once the funds have been released to my account. If I do not receive a resolution or clear proof of payment within this timeframe, I will proceed with escalating the matter to Capitec and the relevant South African authorities.

Update 25 May: An additional withdrawal of R300 was marked as successful on 1win at 01:29 AM, but the funds have still not been received in my bank account. I am also still waiting for a response regarding the R5010 withdrawal and the R100 deposit issue.

R300 Instant EFT withdrawal marked “Successful” in 1win at 01:29 am but not received. Agent Fariha closed chat at 08:47 without providing a case number. This is the same pattern as my original R5,010 case. Screenshots attached.

This complaint has been open for over a week and I still don’t have a resolution. Every time I contact live chat I’m told “Please wait 72 hours”. It’s been much longer than 72 hours now and there’s no update. I also want to add that my other deposit complaint with case number *SPP-362443* was cancelled by your team with no proper explanation, even after I provided all the proof. My R5,010 withdrawal from 13 May 2026 is still pending, and the deposit issue is not resolved. Please escalate this to a senior agent and give me a clear answer today. I cannot keep waiting.
