Zety Unauthorised Subscription And Monthly Charges

I am writing regarding unauthorized charges applied to my DBS Visa credit card in Singapore by Zety for the CV builder subscription linked to my account (email: deadp***@gmail.com, account ID: 670507***). I started a 14‑day free trial on 2 July 2025 to create a CV and stopped using the service completely even before the trial ended. At no point was I clearly informed that this free trial would automatically convert into a paid recurring subscription. On 18 April 2026, while checking my bank statements, I discovered that I have been charged a monthly subscription fee of $35.50 from August 2025 to April 2026 without my knowledge or consent. I did not authorize any continuation of the service beyond the free trial, did not knowingly agree to an auto‑renewal, and did not use the service at all after the initial trial period. I have already contacted Zety customer service via email but have not yet received any response. Given that these charges were not clearly disclosed to me and that I did not use or benefit from the service after the trial, I consider these payments to be unauthorized and unfair. I request a full refund of all monthly subscription fees of $35.30 that were charged from August 2025 to April 2026 total of $317.70 to my DBS Visa card and the immediate cancellation of any active subscription associated with my account. I kindly ask that this matter be reviewed urgently and that the refund be processed back to my original payment method.
