Zelle shows my payment as pending for days, how can I expedite the transaction?

First, confirm that your Zelle app or banking app is fully updated, and your device’s operating system is current.

Check if the recipient is enrolled with Zelle using the same email or phone number you sent the payment to—if not, the payment will remain pending until they register.

Ask the recipient to complete their Zelle enrollment ASAP through their bank or the Zelle app. Once they register, the money should be deposited instantly.

If the recipient is already enrolled, have them double-check their account settings—using a different email or phone number can delay the transfer.

Try canceling the payment (if it still shows as “pending”) and resending it only after confirming the recipient’s correct enrollment info.
