Zara Wide Leg Jeans Sizing Inconsistent – Same Size, Different Fit!

I ordered a pair of size 40 wide leg jeans from Zara about a month ago and loved how they fit. So, I decided to order the same jeans in a different color, again in size 40. However, when the second pair arrived, it was noticeably tighter—about 3-4 centimeters smaller in the waist and hips compared to the first pair, even though the measurements listed on the site were identical. I couldn’t even fit into the second pair! How can Zara, a global brand, have such inconsistent sizing? I trusted the measurements and now I’m left with jeans that don’t fit. Do I really have to drive to the store and return them myself? Zara isn’t covering my gas, after all! This is unacceptable—why am I paying for their mistake? I expect better!
