Yves Rocher Sunscreens and Moisturizer Peel Off Like Eraser Shavings
I bought several products from Yves Rocher, including an anti-spot sunscreen, an anti-shine sunscreen, and a moisturizer for oily skin. While I had no issues with the anti-shine sunscreen, both the anti-spot sunscreen and the moisturizer started peeling off my face like eraser shavings the moment I applied them. It didn’t matter how I applied them—slowly, gently, with or without layering—they still peeled. I even tested them separately multiple times to make sure I wasn’t doing something wrong. The result was always the same.
I contacted Yves Rocher customer service, and they simply redirected me to email support. I followed up with detailed explanations and even sent photos showing the issue. Their response? They claimed it was a “problem with my skin” and that they couldn't do anything. They even suggested I see a doctor and get a report—as if this obvious product flaw was somehow a medical issue.
This is completely unacceptable coming from a well-known, global skincare brand. If there really was something wrong with my skin, then why didn’t the anti-shine sunscreen or eye cream I bought from them cause the same problem? The issue is clearly with these two specific products, not me.
To make matters worse, I received no follow-up call, no proper explanation—just deflection through email. It’s clear now that this is how they silence complaints. Push it to email, then brush it off.
Yves Rocher, I paid a premium price trusting your ingredients and reputation. But the outcome was a total disappointment—my money went to waste, and my skin suffered. If you continue ignoring these issues and blaming customers instead of investigating your products, your brand credibility will fall fast.
