“Mr. Y*** and Mr. Ö**** from Yıldız Motorcycle assisted me and were very helpful. They determined that the source of the noise was not the center stand but the rear shock absorber, and that the noise was due to the springs of the shock absorber closing abruptly when hitting potholes. It was determined that there was no issue affecting my usage or driving safety. I thank them for their attention. However, when I called Yamaha Turkey, the staff I spoke with were uninformed and inadequate. Apart from that, I especially thank technician Mr. Yunus from Yıldız Motorcycle.”

I bought a Yamaha Xmax250 motorbike about a month and a half ago, paying almost 80,000 lira above the list price. As a 55-kilogram individual, every time I go over speed bumps or small road irregularities like drain covers, the center stand scrapes against the ground. I visited the dealership twice, taking time off work, but they claimed it was normal and showed me their own motorbikes with the same issue. They said it was a chronic problem and that they couldn't do anything about it. When I contacted Yamaha and explained the situation, they didn't respond. I still haven't found a solution. When I called Yamaha Turkey, they nonchalantly claimed that it was normal. Even at speeds of 120-130 kilometers per hour on the highway, I experience this noise when going over the slightest road irregularities. They don't seem to realize the danger of the situation. When there are two people on the motorbike, it practically scrapes the ground like a lowered car. This is a one-and-a-half-month-old 2023 Xmax. If this is indeed a chronic issue as the dealership claimed, Yamaha should recall all Xmax motorbikes. If it's not chronic, then why was I told it was? Why isn't my issue being resolved? Clearly, there is a manufacturing-related problem, but nobody wants to deal with it. Shame on Yamaha for neglecting everything from their dealerships to maintenance and prices. I'll take matters into my own hands. If I experience an accident, injury, or even death due to this issue, Yamaha Turkey and all their employees are to blame!

Still, no one is interested. I am calling and trying to get a response by force. They say they will call me back, but they don't. They said they forwarded it to the headquarters and that they would call me, they even gave me a date, but I was not called again. No one cares, I can't believe it. It has a name, but nothing else. Yamaha is finished for me. As someone who has directed many people to motorcycles in my circle, I will not recommend it to a single person, nor will I let anyone buy it.
