I Want a Refund for My TCL Alcatel MT40X After Unsuccessful Service Repairs
On August 23, 2025, we purchased a TCL Alcatel MT40X Movetime Kids Smartwatch from the Vatan Computer store located in Avcılar Pelican Mall for $115. Within the first few days of use, the battery began draining completely within just a few hours. Because of this issue, we returned the product to the same store on August 31 so it could be sent to the authorized service center under warranty.
On September 14, we received the watch back after being informed that new software had been installed and that the problem had been resolved. However, after bringing the device home, it would not power on at all. We were also unable to charge it, making the smartwatch completely unusable.
As a result, on September 20, we returned the product to the same store once again and requested a refund. The device is covered by a two-year warranty, and we have the original purchase invoice. No service fees were requested during this process. However, since the last time we handed over the product, we have not received any updates or information regarding its status. After experiencing repeated failures and an unsuccessful warranty repair, we have completely lost confidence in the brand.
I am requesting a full refund of the purchase price for this product.
