WPS Office Failed to Disclose $21 Annual Charge Upfront

December 22, 2025 11:39 PM13

While using the WPS Office app, on December 22 at 6:31 AM, a charge of $21 was made to my debit card for what was described as a one-year subscription without my knowledge or consent. I thought the app was free, and I did not see any clear, open, and understandable notification that this fee would be charged.

Because this fee was not clearly disclosed to me at any cancellation or approval step, I find this charge unjust and misleading. Even though I continue to use the app, I believe this transaction lacked proper transparency and clear disclosure.

My request to WPS Office is that the full $21 charged to my debit card on December 22 be refunded and that users be clearly informed about such charges in the future.
