I accidentally answered the call, and after ending it, I realized that the number was registered in Cameroon. I became concerned that actions might be taken in my name, and since I do not know how this number obtained my WhatsApp information, I hold WhatsApp responsible for this situation.
I have previously received similar calls from foreign numbers at times I cannot recall precisely. Even though I have no connection whatsoever to this country or area code, I find it extremely concerning from a security standpoint that such calls are able to reach my account.
I request that WhatsApp conduct a detailed investigation into the mentioned number and similar calls, review my account for security issues, and provide me with a clear explanation of how my personal data and phone number are visible to such foreign and unrelated numbers.
