Suspicious WhatsApp Call From +237 Number Sparks Data Privacy Fears

At around 4:40 PM on December 16, I received a video call request on WhatsApp from a phone number with the +237 country code. When I researched the number online, I learned that +237 belongs to Cameroon. I have no personal or business connection with this country, and this situation caused me serious concern.

I immediately blocked the number, but I am worried that my phone number may have been shared with third parties without my consent and could potentially be misused. I want to clearly state that I do not accept any responsibility for possible outcomes such as unauthorized access to my WhatsApp account, misuse of my personal data, messages or photos being compromised, my phone number being used to establish companies, make purchases, or incur debts in my name.

I urgently request that WhatsApp investigate this incident, ensure that my account and personal data are secure, block such suspicious calls, and take all necessary security measures. I believe that all legal and technical responsibility regarding this incident lies with WhatsApp, and I expect a clear explanation and solution.
